I was in Austin over the weekend to attend Leadership Day.   “Focus on the Outcome – Imagine Our Impact” is the theme for us in 2012.  We heard from Republican Party Chairman Steve Munisteri and Harris County Judge Ed Emmett, Chairman of Victory 2012.  We want to work hard to send OBAMA back to Chicago.   All of our members are urged to join “The Grassroots Club” for only $8.25 a month to help with the expenses of running the State Republican Party.  See me if interested in participating.
Hopefully we will get to have our Primary sometime in April, no one knows for sure what is going to happen next!  James Carter, Executive Director of Dallas County GOP, informed us last month of some of the things going on with the redistricting issue!
We must be united in our approach to this election in November.  We cannot allow ourselves to be distracted within the party, as we have been accused of doing from time to time.  We all think as individuals and we support our own primary candidates but, after the primary, we must come together and unite as never before.
Our meeting this month is Feb. 29th, the 5th Wednesday!   The candidates from House District 114 & 115 will participate in a Candidates Forum.  Meeting will probably last until 11:30 AM.  Please invite someone to come with you; we all need to be informed!
