We had seventy seven people to attend our Candidate’s Forum for Districts 114 & 115 last month.  Everyone needs to be informed so you can make your own decision on who you want to support in the Primary on May 29th!   Our program committee did an excellent job on presenting the forum:  Linda Rogers as Moderator, Kathleen Ryan & Beverly Wagner as Timekeepers and Vicki Goode as Parliamentarian.  If you have a question on something that was said at the forum, please do not hesitate to call the candidate and talk with them about the issue.
Marty Forte’ had our 2012 Yearbooks printed and available at our meeting in February!  Please pick yours up at this month’s meeting, if you failed to get it in February.  Let us know if anything needs to be changed.
The Reagan Day Dinner at the new beautiful Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas March 10th was so exciting!  Bobby Jindal, Governor of Louisiana, was an awesome speaker!  He closed his speech with this,   “WE CAN NOT AFFORD FOUR MORE YEARS OF ON THE JOB TRAINING FOR OBAMA.”
As Republican Women, let’s maximize our effectiveness by becoming informed locally, statewide and nationally, letting our elected officials know how we would like them to vote , and above all, never missing opportunities to exercise our own right to vote!
We have a total of 114 regular members and 34 associate members in Preston West.  Please invite someone to come with you to our meeting March 28 to hear Hon. Cathie Adams, Past Chair of the Republican Party of Texas, speaking on “The UN’s Agenda 21.”   Hope to see many of you there.
